Elopement in Scotland, St Fillans
I am so grateful I live in such a magical place as Scotland, wherever you go there are high mountains, lochs, and seaside- magnificent scenery. As a wedding photographer in Perthshire, I come across a diversity of people from across the world that choose what Scotland has to offer as the place for their wedding. Recently, as of the beginning of 2023, I had the pleasure of meeting Holger and Sabrina- two wonderful souls who came from Germany to get married in Scotland! They choose to Elope which is a great choice if you want to focus purely on yourself during this time and have an intimate ceremony.
The ceremony was very special to their hearts, it was hosted by witnesses - their dear friends at their home in St- Fillan’s. There was lots of happiness, laughter and tears of joy.
On the 4th of January 2023, they said I do!
Sabrina has taken great courage to arrange to make this elopement so special. She has sourced decorations, bespoke gifts and personalized unique wedding items in a rustic boho style (totally my vibe) and they were truly stunning and beautifully arranged. The wedding bouquet was also made by Sabrina, combining pieces of dry flowers. .
After the ceremony, we hopped in the car to start our tour around the loch and magnificent Scottish mountains, we experienced all sorts of weather Scotland had to offer. Luckily it was dry, however, we managed to get even some snow! The scenery was spectacular and I was very excited about every stop as it had plenty of unique photography opportunities. I am so glad they were both so chilled and fun and I could capture these unforgettable moments for them. Let me show you how it went..
